The following is a letter written to me after Chris visited the Question and Answer section on this Web Site.

Eileen,
I was reading your questions and answers with great enjoyment. Just thought I'd let you know that I would be more than happy to attest to the Klee Kai's ability to adapt to any temperatures. Here in Las Vegas Bandit will go out on the back porch in the summer with 115 degree heat and sun himself. He also loves the winters here and it does get down to freezing at night. Bandit is also territorial, since a little pup I have taken him for walks up and down the block, particularly, about 2 houses in each direction from our house. This has become HIS territory (with the blessing of our neighbors on both sides) and his greatest enjoyment is to sit in the front yard surveying his neighborhood. The only thing is he's not real fond of the local tom cats - really doesn't like them in the area. By the way Bandit celebrated his 3rd birthday yesterday on 1/20/98. I still am planning on sending a story on Bandit because as so many have said they are more than a pet they are family.
