For those of you interested in the formative years of the Alaskan Klee Kai, I have included a few of my favorite newspaper and magazine articles. Although the download time is considerable, I hope you will enjoy the ones I have selected. Please keep in mind that reporters seldom took notes and occasionally either misunderstood my explanations or perhaps simply wrote the story as they saw it. For example, I was surprised one day by an adorable picture in our local paper of a young girl holding a dog originating from my kennels. However, the reporter had obviously failed to ask what the dog was and instead had written that it was a miniature Siberian! The following articles are either ones I wrote, was allowed to read before they went to print, or were at least more realistic than many.
